Network and structured cabling installation

Cameras, intercoms, phones, and computers depend on the cabling and network behind them. We install and service structured cabling and network equipment across Southern California.

Structured cabling

We run, terminate, label, and test cable from each device back to a central rack or cabinet, so later changes and troubleshooting go faster.

  • Category 6 and Category 6A data drops
  • Patch panels, racks, and wall-mount cabinets
  • Cabling for cameras, access control readers, and intercoms
  • Labeling and testing of each run

Network equipment

Switches connect cameras, phones, entry systems, and computers. Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches also power cameras, phones, and wireless access points through the same cable.

  • PoE switches for cameras and phones
  • Wireless access points
  • Routers and firewalls for your internet service
  • Separate networks for cameras or guest Wi-Fi where appropriate

Connecting buildings and remote equipment

Gates, garages, pool equipment rooms, and separate buildings often need a connection. We choose the route and connection type based on distance and site conditions.

Cleanup and troubleshooting

Unlabeled cables, failing terminations, and equipment added over time make a network unreliable. We trace and label cabling, replace damaged runs, and organize racks.

Questions

Common questions

What is the difference between Cat 6 and Cat 6A?

Both support Gigabit Ethernet. Cat 6A is rated for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100 meter channel, while Cat 6 supports 10 Gigabit only over shorter runs. Cat 6A cable is also thicker. We recommend a type based on the devices, distances, and budget.

Can you work in an occupied office or building?

Yes. Tell us your hours and any restrictions, and we will plan the work around them.

Can you help with Wi-Fi problems?

Yes. Dead spots and dropped connections often come from access point placement, interference, or cabling. We review the setup and recommend changes.
