Access control and video intercom installation

We install and service door and gate access control, video intercoms, and entry systems for apartment properties, homes, and businesses across Southern California.

Door and gate access control

Credentials replace keys and can be issued or removed without rekeying locks. We install readers, keypads, and the controllers that operate door hardware, then set up users and schedules.

  • Card and key fob readers
  • PIN keypads
  • Mobile credentials on systems that support them
  • Schedules for staff, residents, vendors, and deliveries
  • Entry records on systems that keep them

Video intercoms and entry stations

Residents, homeowners, or front desk staff can see and talk to a visitor, then release the door or gate. We plan each station's location, height, lighting, and wiring.

  • Building panels with resident directories
  • Single-door intercoms for homes and offices
  • Calls to indoor monitors, desk stations, or mobile apps, depending on the system
  • Connection to electric strikes, magnetic locks, and gate operators

Gates

For vehicle and pedestrian gates, we install the access control and intercom side and connect it to the gate operator. If the motor or mechanical parts also need work, mention it when you call so the scope can be confirmed.

Replacing older entry systems

Older intercoms often have worn wiring and parts that are hard to find. We check the panel, wiring, and door hardware to see what can be reused, and plan the changeover so people can still get in while work is under way.

Service and troubleshooting

Common problems include calls that do not reach residents, doors that do not release, readers that reject credentials, and panels that lose power or their network connection. We find the cause and repair or replace the affected parts.

Questions

Common questions

Can residents answer the intercom on their phone?

Some systems call a mobile app or phone number instead of, or in addition to, an indoor monitor. That depends on the equipment, the network, and any service the manufacturer requires.

Can you replace an old apartment intercom?

Yes. We assess the existing panel, wiring, and door hardware, then recommend a replacement that fits the building's entrances and number of residents.

Do you install gate operators?

Our gate work covers access control and intercom connections. If the gate operator itself needs repair or replacement, describe the equipment when you call so the scope can be confirmed.

Will our existing door hardware work?

Sometimes. Electric strikes and magnetic locks have to suit the door, the frame, and fire and life-safety requirements. We check existing hardware before reusing it.
